Characteristics of DVD-D+R

  • It can support a recording speed of 8X.

  • The limited time playback is based on the number of playbacks or for up to a certain number of hours.
  • For example, the disc could be rendered unplayable after a single playback.  Or it could be rendered unplayable after 48 hours of playback.
  • This flexibility allows companies to offer different kinds of DVDs for different kinds of services.
  • If you require a small batch of DVDs for a particular purpose or to be playable for a limited time period. DVD-D+R would be a good choice.
